The Valley Wedding Guide - Aesthetics
The Art of Aesthetics
Self-care comes in many forms. For some, it’s quiet time in nature, for others, it’s a bath and a glass of wine. If self-care has found you in the form of aesthetics, a quick trip down the Benner Pike to one of the area’s newest, fastest-growing medical spas, will have you feeling good as new.
We spoke with the pros from Pinch of Beauty to learn more about their services, and how aesthetics can be a useful tool to help you feel your best.
The founders of Pinch of Beauty Aesthetics, Alissa Franklin and Heather Walker, are two down-to-earth women who started their business in hopes of helping people enhance their natural beauty.
Both Alissa and Heather have backgrounds in Nurse Anesthesia, with Master of Science Degrees in Nursing. Their backgrounds have provided them with a unique advantage: extensive knowledge of the anatomy of the face. That same knowledge has allowed them to deliver aesthetically pleasing results through their procedures.
Everyone wants to feel their best on their wedding day! How can Pinch of Beauty make that happen?
Weddings are a common big day that women and men alike need to prepare for in order to look and feel their best. Specifically for brides, we have a Complimentary Bridal Consultation where we sit down and plan out your Bridal timeline. We take each bride’s concerns and budget into consideration, and plan accordingly to deliver them the best results. We love brides to come in six months to a year in advance to provide the best possible outcomes for their big day! Regardless of what you are looking for, whether it just be some maintenance Botox or enhancing your skin through our many services provided we are a requirement to best be prepared for your big day.
What services do you offer?
Our services range from Botox, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) via Microneedling, Platelet Rich Plasma via injections, Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) Under Eye Treatments, VI peels, Filler, and our signature Pinch of Beauty Facial.
Can you explain the objectives of those services for people who aren’t as familiar with aesthetics?
Botox helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles caused by muscle movement.
PRP microneedling helps restore collagen and growth factors to rejuvenate the skin from the inside out. This evens skin texture, tone and delivers a glowing face.
PRF under eye treatments help to regenerate vasculature, skin cells, collagen and thickens the skin to hide dark undereye circles caused by thinning skin and the loss of elasticity.
VI peels remove the outer layer of the skin and get rid of the skin that has been damaged by the aging processes.
Filler can remedy the loss of fat pads, collagen, or bone structure. Filler helps to take up that space that was once filled by those entities and give you a natural curve and lift to your facial structure that it deserves. It can also be used to help plump up your lips to give you the perfect pout for your wedding pictures.
Our Pinch of Beauty signature facial can be done about a week to two weeks prior to your big event. It includes a secret sauce made to deliver you that perfect glow for your big day!
What can a bride or groom expect for a timeline on these services?
When you come in for your initial consultation, we will plot out the timeline that matches the services you’re looking for with your big day. Botox should be scheduled 6-8 weeks prior to your big day as it needs time to set up, then relax to a more natural look and feel. PRP facials should be 3-6 months in advance from your event to give you the best results for the day of your event. VI peels should be timed 4 weeks prior to allow you to fully peel and show off your glowing skin. Filler should be timed 3-4 months in advance to allow for healing.
